01 / On the airframe
Exterior, from strip to topcoat
Single-engine pistons, turboprops and light jets. Full repaints, partial work and the jobs that decide what the aircraft looks like on the ramp.
Full exterior repaint
Strip or scuff, prime and topcoat, with the scheme laid out and masked by hand.
Chemical & media stripping
Old coatings taken back without attacking the substrate underneath.
Corrosion treatment
Found, cut back, treated and sealed before anything goes over the top of it.
Registration marks
N-numbers and livery lettering, set out to size and squared to the airframe.
Leading edges & control surfaces
The parts that take the abuse, refinished without upsetting balance.
Polish & brightwork
Bare metal brought back, spinners and boots cleaned up.
Exterior detailing
Wash, decontamination, sealant and de-icing residue removal between paint cycles.
Interior detailing
Leather, carpet, panels and glass, done to the same standard as the outside.

It is weight
Every coat that goes on has to come off the useful load. Thickness that is not controlled is payload you gave away and fuel you burn on every single flight.

It is the seal against corrosion
The coating is the barrier. Where it fails, moisture sits against the skin and works quietly until an inspection finds it, and by then it is a structural conversation.

It is the first thing a buyer sees
An aircraft with tired paint gets valued as an aircraft with tired everything, whatever the logbooks say. A good finish is the cheapest argument you have at sale time.

It is done once or it is done twice
The hours are in the preparation, not in the spraying. That is why the order of work below never changes, whoever is paying and however tight the window is.

Five stages, none of them skipped

Containment
Hangar prepared, glass, probes, static ports, antennas and gear bays masked and protected.
- 02
Strip or scuff
The old system removed or keyed, and the airframe washed down and dried before anything else.

Corrosion & filler
Everything that turned up during strip treated and faired before primer, not after.
- 04
Primer & layout
Primed, then the scheme and the registration marks set out and taped to size.
- 05
Topcoat & cure
Sprayed in controlled conditions and given its full cure before the aircraft moves.
